Your rental fee covers minor wear and tear. If the camcorder is lost, severely damaged, or stolen, you'll be responsible for the additional fee. Yes! These camcorders capture both video and audio.

Within two weeks of us receiving the camcorder back, you will receive an email with a download link to access your complete raw footage (minus accidental recordings, blank space, unintentional camcorder movements, etc) and professionally edited recap.

Our camcorders come with a 32GB memory card, allowing you to record over 12 hours of video. That's plenty of space to capture every candid moment of your event. A standard camcorder rental period is for one event day.

Currently our camcorder rental only serves events within the continental United States. If you live in the US, but your event is abroad, you may ship your camcorder to a US-based address and bring it with you. We're working on expanding our service area in the future. Cancellations made more than 30 days before your Camcorder Arrival Date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the camera arrival date are non-refundable.

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability. The camcorder will arrive approximately on or before your chosen Camcorder Arrival Date.

No worries! Contact our customer service at hello@handheldstudio.com, and we'll email you a replacement pre-paid UPS return label at no additional cost.

Ship the camcorder back on the next business day. We understand holidays and weekends happen, so we offer a small grace period.

Please note that the standard Return Date is 7 days after your chosen Camcorder Arrival Date. You must drop off your camcorder in its box with the pre-paid shipping label at a UPS location by the Return Date. Late returns incur a fee of $35 per additional day. If the camcorder is not returned within 5 days past the Return Date, you'll be charged the full replacement cost.

We strongly prefer UPS and provide a pre-paid label for this carrier. If you choose to send items back with another mail carrier, you can purchase your own shipping label. We recommend purchasing tracking information with the mail carrier you select, because you will be responsible if the camcorder is not returned successfully.
