Hi, I'm Molly! I'm a wedding content creator from Los Angeles, California, who specializes in camcorder footage. I gravitated towards capturing weddings and events on a camcorder early on in my career because of the raw nostalgic feelings they capture. There's something about being in front of an old camcorder that brings a certain openness and carefree energy out of people, like they can truly be themselves and not worry about being judged.

I started giving one of my extra camcorders to the groomsmen during the first part of a wedding day when I was capturing the bride and the bridesmaids. This quickly turned into the party passing the camera around at cocktail hour, going full “dad-mode” doing 90's style interviews with the guests, and continued on for the rest of the night. What I realized is that people are going to say and do WAY funnier things in front of people they know, rather than a hired photographer and videographer who they do not know. My couples have LOVED this new and unique way to look back on their celebrations through their friends' and family's eyes. So Handheld Studio was born.
